Our Story

Why we chose to make something simple, consistent, and easy to return to - every day.

It started with curiosity

Mako started with a simple frustration: most mushroom supplements look impressive, but don’t feel consistent. We wanted tinctures we’d actually use every day - made with care, and built around quality you can verify.

We fell into mycology the way most people do: slowly, then all at once. The deeper we went, the clearer it became - fungi are extraordinary, but only when they’re sourced and processed properly.

So we built Mako around a straightforward idea: treat the raw material with respect, extract it well, and be honest about what’s inside the bottle.
